# Vidu Q4 AI Video Generator

## Image-to-video studio

- Start with a local JPG, PNG, or WebP image, or a public HTTPS image URL. The file limit is 20 MB.
- Preview the selected image and optionally describe the camera movement, subject motion, or atmosphere.
- Choose a duration from 3 to 16 seconds with the slider or plus/minus controls. The default is 5 seconds.
- The default resolution is 540p. Advanced Settings offers 540p, 720p, 1080p, 2K, or 4K and generated audio controls.
- See a live credit estimate before submitting a generation. A 5-second video at 540p is estimated at 23 credits.

Previewing an image does not submit a generation. Local images stay in the browser until a generation is submitted. A pasted image URL is loaded from its host to display the preview.

## Examples and workflow

The [homepage examples](https://vidu-q4.net/#examples) show real Vidu Q4 Preview outputs generated, including a breezy tram-window portrait and a quiet portrait in soft window light. Both are eight-second, 540p clips with generated sound. Each example includes its starting image and motion prompt. Quality varies with the input and prompt.

Sign in, select your image and settings, and submit. New accounts receive 25 permanent credits automatically on registration, once per account; purchase more credits when needed. The My videos dashboard shows task progress, prompts, and completed results. Generated videos are kept for only 5 days under the published retention policy; download them promptly to keep a copy. Task history is not permanent video storage.
